Frequently Asked Questions

The questions buyers actually ask before placing a card order — quantity, sampling, files, lead time, shipping, payment and what happens if something goes wrong. If your question is not here, the answer is one email away.

01

Orders & MOQ

What is your minimum order quantity?+
Our standard MOQ is 500 decks. However, if your order is under 500 decks, our sales team will work with you to find the most cost-effective option.
Why is the MOQ 500 decks?+
Offset printing requires plate making and set-up that is fixed regardless of run length. 500 decks is the point where unit cost becomes reasonable while keeping quality stable.
Can I start with a smaller run?+
Yes, it is discussed case by case. If your order is under 500 decks, our sales team will work with you to find the most cost-effective option — often a reduced specification or a shared production slot.
Can one order contain several different decks?+
Yes. Each design is quoted with its own MOQ, and the decks can be packed into one shipment. Send the full list of designs and quantities so the quotation reflects the combined run.
02

Sampling

How long does sampling take?+
5–7 days after print-ready artwork and specifications are confirmed. Sample cost is usually refundable against a bulk order.
Is the standard sample kit free?+
The kit itself is free for serious business enquiries — you only cover the courier charge. Contact us and we will confirm the current shipping cost to your country.
Can I get a sample printed with my own artwork?+
Yes. Send print-ready files and we will produce a custom physical sample in 5–7 days. Sample cost is normally refundable against a bulk order.
What should I check on the sample?+
Six things: colour against your Pantone reference, stock thickness and snap, the finish under real light, cutting and front-to-back registration, how the deck sits in the box, and the shrink wrap or packing reference.
03

Artwork & Files

What file format should I send?+
AI, PSD or PDF at final size, 300 dpi, CMYK colour, 3 mm bleed on every edge, with fonts outlined or packaged. Spot colours should be supplied as Pantone references, not RGB swatches.
I do not have a dieline. Can you provide one?+
Yes. We supply the dieline for the card size and box style you choose — poker 63 × 88 mm, bridge 57 × 87 mm, tarot 70 × 120 mm or a custom size — so artwork is built on the real cut line.
I am a first-time designer — will you check my files?+
Yes. Send us your files and our prepress team will check bleed, colour mode, resolution and line weight, and tell you exactly what (if anything) needs adjusting — free of charge.
Do you provide design service?+
Yes. Under our ODM service our in-house designers can develop card back, layout and box design with you, starting from your references or from scratch.
04

Production & Lead Time

How long does production take?+
15–20 days after sample approval and confirmed specifications, including printing, lamination, die-cutting, sorting and packing. Complex finishing sits at the upper end of that window.
Can you handle a rush order?+
Often yes, depending on line capacity at the time. Tell us the delivery date at quoting stage rather than after the order is placed — that is what determines whether a slot can be reserved.
How do I follow progress during the run?+
Your sales engineer sends weekly updates, and photos or video of the finished batch are available on request before dispatch.
05

Shipping & Payment

Which shipping methods do you use?+
DHL / FedEx / UPS express, air freight and sea freight, door-to-door available with export documents prepared for your customs broker.
Which trade terms do you quote?+
EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP, depending on the project and destination. Tell us the destination port or warehouse and we will quote the term that suits your logistics setup.
What payment methods are accepted?+
T/T. Payment schedule is confirmed with the quotation, typically a deposit with the order and the balance before shipment.
Can you ship to a marketplace or 3PL warehouse?+
Yes. We prepare cartons and labels to the warehouse's requirements and ship door-to-door. Send the labelling instructions with the order so they can be checked before packing.
06

Quality, Compliance & After-Sales

How is quality controlled?+
Three stages: incoming material check, in-line inspection during the print run, and a final pre-shipment check on a random sample before cartons are closed.
Which certifications do you hold?+
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSC chain of custody, EN71 / CE and REACH test reports, plus EU and UK authorised representative appointments. Scans are available on request — see the certification page for the full list.
What if there is a defect or transport damage?+
Any confirmed manufacturing defect or transport damage is replaced or credited. Notify us within 7 days of receiving the goods with photos of the affected cartons and carton numbers — the full process is in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Are the inks and coatings safe and environmentally compliant?+
We use soy-based and low-migration inks and offer FSC-certified paper stock and water-based coatings for markets with strict compliance requirements.
